Because of the changes caused by COVID-19, we want to ensure the health and safety of all our guests moving forward, without compromising the standards we have set and the quality of your stay with us.

At Mill House we are still following some strict rules in an effort to keep everyone safe. We expect all our guests to be fully vaccinated and are required to:

  • On arrival, check in with the track and trace app or have your details taken
  • Have temperature taken
  • Wear a face mask/covering provided when in common areas
  • Gloves to be worn for railings and other metals
  • Keep a safe distance apart

Staff will wear masks and gloves. Rooms are fogged before and after occupancy and common areas fully ventilated.

Refunds due to COVID-19 legislation would be implemented as per government guidelines.

Booking Terms

  1. Check-in is normally 2pm-5pm. For special requirements, please arrange in advance. Check-out is no later than 12 noon unless pre-arranged.
  2. Price includes tea and coffee facilities in the room.
  3. Pets may accompany you free of charge but there is a refundable cleaning deposit of £50.00 per animal to cover any ‘accidents’. Any other damage will be charged in addition to this.
  4. Pets only allowed in room if in pens. We can provide pens on request.
  5. We reserve the right to charge your card for any cancellations, unpaid balances, breakages or damages during your stay.
  6. A 50% deposit is required at point of booking with the balance due on or before the day of arrival, payable by cash, cheque or debit/credit card.
  7. Free cancellation up to ten days before occupancy.
  8. Cancellation within ten days of your check-in day will result in non-refund of the deposit.
  9. Cancellation within 48 hours of your check-in day will result in the whole booking being charged.
  10. Smoking is strictly not permitted anywhere in the house but is allowed in the gardens.
  11. Payments are processed through Travel & Leisure Group and will appear as such on your statement.
  12. All prices are quoted are subject to change.
